The last tickets for the round of 16 in the Champions League will be awarded this week. Some teams can sit back and relax as they are already safely in the next round. This applies to Borussia Dortmund, among others. BVB competes at Zenit St. Petersburg on Tuesday. For the Russians, however, it is clear that it will be the last European Cup game this season.

Zenit has been eliminated from five games with just one point; BVB, on the other hand, scored ten points. This means that Borussia is only concerned with defending the championship lead over Lazio. In addition, things have generally not been going very well in the last few weeks. Sergej Semak's team have only won one of their last five games. Therefore, BVB should also focus more on the Bundesliga until the knockout round. Nevertheless, Borussia remains the favorite in the match on Tuesday at the tested betting shops.
 
It doesn't really run smoothly in the end. Dortmund have not won for three games and have left points against Cologne and Frankfurt in the league and against Lazio in the premier class. In the table of the Bundesliga, the black and yellow are only in fourth place. Last weekend, however, things did not go smoothly at the guest performance in Frankfurt. Erling Haaland is missing in every nook and cranny at the moment. Apparently they failed to sign a real backup for the Norwegian. So it was enough for Eintracht after Gio Reyna's equalizer only to a 1-1 draw.

There will also be a rotation at BVB, although Lucien Favre's hands are tied in some positions, because with Erling Haaland, Thomas Meunier and Marcel Schmelzer three players are definitely out. Thomas Delaney and Raphael Guerreiro are ailing and it is hard to imagine that the BVB coach in St. Petersburg will fall back on players who are not completely fit.
