We start the new season in LaLiga well right away, because on Sunday evening the always-loaded city derby between Valencia and Levante is on the program. Valencia is the logical favorite, but Levante has every reason to dream of a good result in Mestalla.
 



 
 


 
 


Valencia has had a turbulent summer. The club from the orange city had a big sale. Key players like Rodrigo Moreno, Francis Coquelin, Ferran Torres and Cristiano Piccini were left for relatively little money, while no adequate replacements were recruited. The supporters are therefore furious and have had it all with chairman Peter Lim. The new trainer Javi Gracia also expressed his dissatisfaction with the transfer policy of his new employer.



Valencia is therefore facing another difficult season, where it mainly bets on young talents such as Lee Kang-in and Uros Racic. Star player Roger Marti is in the rag basket and must therefore pass the derby against Valencia. The club top scorer of last season with his scoring ability is actually indispensable for Lopez, also because Borja Mayoral (last year's vice-top scorer) has now returned to Real Madrid. The vanguard of Levante is thus badly damaged.
