Teplice - Liberec Prediction, Picks and Taips
The backlash between FK Teplice and Slovan Liberec is the last match in the 23rd round of the Czech Premier League, but it will be the "opening ball" of the season, after the suspension caused by the coronavirus.
On Saturday, the first league in the Czech Republic opens its gates again, without spectators. From 17:00, the guests, played by Alex Baluta, need points to climb in the standings on a play-off place, while the hosts are in the hot zone of the standings.
Slovan Liberec is a very offensive team, with an average of almost two goals per game scored, unlike the opponents from Teplice, who have only 19 goals scored in 23 matches played so far. Slovan Liberec has three victories in the last three championship matches and was one of the fittest teams in the Czech Republic, before the championship suspension.
In the round it was 1-1, a match in which the Romanian international Alexandru Baluta was the starter. Slovan then prevailed in the direct duel in the Czech Cup, with 2-0, thanks to the goals of Musa (’74) and Kuchta (’90). Slovan Liberec won the last trip, to Sparta Prague (2-1) and did not lose for six consecutive games.
Baluta has 12 matches this season at Slovan, with two goals scored. Teplice scored only 14 points in 11 matches played at home and meets an offensive team: in 11 of Slovan's 13 championship games so far, at least three goals have been scored. But in 7 of the 11 matches played at home by Teplice this season we witnessed less than three successes, which makes goal betting risky in this match.
