St. Pauli – Nurnberg, Picks and Tips
St. Pauli lost in the last round at home to Darmstadt, one of the contenders for the top positions. It was only St. Pauli's second home defeat in 15 league games. In fact, in a league table made up of home matches only, St. Pauli would be top. Darmstadt led 2-0 from the 35th minute. St. Pauli narrowed the gap in the 81st minute through Daschner, and by the end they didn't have the strength to equalize. So Darmstadt won on a pitch where even Dortmund had been beaten this season in a match that counted for the German Cup last 16. So St. Pauli remains winless in the last four rounds. Nurnberg fell apart at the end when they conceded two goals in less than five minutes. After 31 games, Nurnberg is in 6th place in the standings with 50 points.
