Derby also had to concede the second goal in the extra time from the penalty spot. Preston certainly couldn't complain about luck. Hughton's contract was not renewed at Brighton last year, as the resort club saw more salvation in Graham Potter's thinking. 45-year-old Potter managed to keep Brighton in the Premier League last season and there is really an idea behind his way of playing.
