The cards in group G of the Champions League have already been largely shuffled. Juventus has already secured a place in the eighth finals, but still has a small chance of a group win. Dynamo Kiev has already been eliminated, but desperately needs the points in its battle for third place.







 
 
  

Juventus recorded a surprisingly difficult 2-1 victory over Ferencvaros last week, in which match winner Alvaro Morata only made the decision at the last minute. The Italians will look back on that game with little pleasure, but thanks to this victory, wintering in the Champions League was secured for the seventh season in a row.



Juventus still has a small chance of a group win, although trainer Andrea Pirlo seems to be planning to rotate a bit on Wednesday evening. His team is still not doing well, because after last weekend's 1-1 draw at Benevento in Serie A, I Bianconeri saw the gap against leader AC Milan increase to six points. Alvaro Morata will be suspended next weekend and will therefore probably be at the kick-off against Dynamo Kiev, but Arthur and Adrien Rabiot, among others, are prime candidates for a snipper evening. Juan Cuadrado is on edge and is suspended for the next yellow card.


 
 
 
 
 

Dynamo Kyiv returned to the Champions League this season after a four-year absence, but a successful comeback has not happened. The men of trainer Mircea Lucescu only got one point from their four group duels, and were swept off the field last week with a 0-4 defeat by a B-team of FC Barcelona.



Dynamo Kiev can of course forget the eighth finals of the Champions League, but the Ukrainians are certainly not finished on the European battlefield. The club is fighting with Ferencvaros for third place, which entitles them to a place in the knockout phase of the Europa League. The head-to-head game next week in Kiev will therefore be decisive, although the Ukrainians hope for bonus points against Juventus of course.
