Getafe FC is in crisis. The team of coach José 'Pepe ‘Bordalas has been waiting six games for a win (three defeats, three draws). The last success came in mid-October - a 1-0 win against FC Barcelona.

Since then Getafe has lost to Granada (0: 1), Villarreal (1: 3) and last weekend against Levante (0: 3). Especially with this bankruptcy, the performance of the Azulones was measured against their own claims and what Getafe normally stands for. After 17 minutes it was already 2-0 for Levante, both times the Getafe defense was not at all up to date.

Hardly anything was to be seen of the strength of the duel and the collective meticulous work against the ball during the guest appearance in Valencia. It is also noticeable that this was the third game of the season in which Getafe conceded three goals. Usually, the Bordalas team is known for its relentless defensive, good pressing and cohesive team performance - but currently little of that can be seen during the winless series.

To make matters worse, Bordalas are missing three regular players in the difficult game against Sevilla: Both central defenders Chema and Djene are missing red-suspended - Chema saw red against Levante, Djene yellow-red. In addition, striker Jaime Mata has received his fifth yellow card.

Sevilla FC also have their problems this season. After coach Julen Lopetegui's team failed to win four games in a row in October (there were three bankruptcies in a row), the form was actually up again - until Real Madrid made a guest appearance at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan and the Andalusians again last weekend inflicted a bust.

Here Seville acted unusually cautious and toothless against the Spanish champions and had to accept another small setback in the league.
 
But Seville was already well recovered from this a few days later during the week, in the Champions League at Stade Rennes a convincing 3-1. The Sevillanos want to take this tailwind with them to Getafe.

Lopetegui will probably be able to draw on the full potential again and finally set up a regular left-back. Most recently, ex-Hertha central defender Karim Rekik had to help out in this unfamiliar position, as both Sergio Escudero and Marcos Acuña were injured. It is expected that Acuña will be available again in Getafe.

With Acuña there should be significantly more momentum on the left side. The Argentine, who came from Sporting before the season, has his strengths on the offensive.

Just said offensive is causing problems for the Sevillanos this season: They only scored more than one goal in two league games. If you deduct the 3: 1 against Cadiz on matchday three and the 4: 2 against Celta Vigo, the Lopetegui team scored only a measly five goals in the remaining eight games.

There are twelve goals in total, ten teams have scored more goals - that's actually not enough for Seville's demands.
