Chelsea - Burnley Prediction, Picks and Tips

The match between Chelsea and Burnley is scheduled for this weekend at Stamford Bridge. It will be Thomas Tuchel's second game as Chelsea coach, who should be able to take three points with this selection when Burnley is a guest in West London.

Tuchel was appointed as Chelsea's new manager this week. Last Monday, Frank Lampard was fired from The Blues. A day later, Tuchel was already presented at Chelsea. It is up to the German to start the way up with The Blues. The dismissal of Lampard, who also did not do it dramatically at Chelsea, was questioned. Chelsea's problem at the moment is that the team doesn't seem to be fully attuned to each other yet. It is up to Tuchel to change that as quickly as possible. Midweek, Tuchel was already on the couch at Chelsea. On Wednesday evening, The Blues were visited by Wolverhampton Wanderers in their own stadium. The game ended in a goalless draw. A result that they could not be very dissatisfied with at Chelsea, although the Wolves are a number of places below The Blues. Against Wolverhampton, Tuchel immediately wanted to throw his own sauce over this Chelsea, for example by positioning Callum Hudson-Odoi as right back. The German will probably start in a somewhat different formation against Burnley than he did against the Wolves.

Burnley is confident that it can achieve a result at Stamford Bridge. This has everything to do with The Clarets' most recent matches. The team of Sean Dyche managed to win the last three games it played. That all happened in just over a week. First Burnley was 0-1 too strong in the Premier League for champion Liverpool. Last weekend, The Clarets continued that victory by beating Fulham 0-3 in the FA Cup. On Turf Moor, Aston Villa was the third victim on Wednesday evening. Burnley proved too strong for The Villans in his own stadium 3-2. Ben Mee, Dwight McNeil and Chris Wood were accurate against Villa and gave Burnley three points. The victories over Liverpool and Aston Villa have made Burnley a nice jump in the rankings. The counter is now at 22 points after 19 duels and The Clarets are playing further and further away from the danger zone. Given its current form, it is not inconceivable that Burnley will make it very difficult for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
