Celtic – Rangers, Picks and Tips

Celtic's only defeats in recent months have come in the UEFA Conference League and Scottish Cup. In the league, the 'green and whites' have an unblemished record and have not lost in the previous 28 Scottish Premiership games, with Ange Postecoglou's side beating Ross County 2-0 away last time out. Celtic are top of Scotland and six points ahead of rivals Rangers with just four games remaining. The hosts' Australian manager can count himself lucky. He only has one injury problem: Croatian Josip Juranovic. Otherwise, Postecoglou can field the best available line-up. He is preparing a 4-3-3 similar to what we have become accustomed to this season. The main question marks are linked to the attacking phase, where Greek Gergios Giakoumakis continues to be only a reserve. The Japanese Fururashi, who scored a goal last season, is announced as the starter. Jota and Abada will play alongside him.

"The Gers go into their third Old Firm Derby in the last month after losing their UEFA Europa League semi-final round tie 1-0 away to RB Leipzig. Previously, Giovanni van Bronckhorst's boys had three domestic wins in a row, including that 2-1 vs Celtic (after extra time) in the Cup semi-finals. With four rounds remaining in the Scottish Premiership, Glasgow Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership table. Ianis Hagi & co are six points behind their city rivals.Centre-back Leon Balogun is suspended after a red card last time out and will not be able to play in the Old Firm Derby. One of the other centre-backs, Swede Helander, will also be absent from the field due to injury. The Dutch manager's biggest concerns, however, are in the attacking phase. There, Alfredo Morelos and Ianis Hagi continue to be absent due to medical problems. Giovanni van Bronckhorst will field a 4-2-3-1 formation. Goldson and Helander will play in the centre of defence, while Barisic will be on the left flank. Kamara and Jack are the closing midfielders. In attack, Sakala will be the pushing forward, helped from the back by a trio of Diallo, Aribo and Kent.
