We start this Spanish football weekend with a get-together between Athletic Bilbao and Celta de Vigo in the San Mames. Both clubs belong to the furniture of LaLiga, but are again very disappointing this season.


 
 


 
 

Athletic Bilbao has recovered from its bad start to the competition, but the Basques still cannot be really satisfied. Last weekend, the team again dropped expensive points on a visit to Getafe with a 1-1 draw, so that they again risk losing the battle for European football.

The new coach Eduardo Coudet started with a 4-2 defeat at Sevilla initially with a false start, but a week later at home against Granada it was hit with a 3-1 win. "It is always nice for a coach to see in the match what we worked on during the training," said the Argentinian coach, who is working in Europe for the first time.



Celta de Vigo can therefore look up again carefully, but with only ten points from eleven rounds and a provisional eighteenth place, it is far from relegation concerns.
