The "Cormorants" are now only in third place, 11 points behind the "citizens". However, the Anfield club has a game in hand. Liverpool have four consecutive games in which they have not won in regulation time. After two difficult games with Leicester, including the 0-1 defeat in the championship, Salah & co moved to Stamford Bridge. Although they led Chelsea 2-0, the final score was eventually 2-2. Norwich (3-0), Preston (2-0) and Leicester (8-7 after penalties) have been Liverpool's opponents so far in the EFL Cup.
