Frankfurt is eighth, after we have completed exactly half of the season. However, the gap to fourth place is only two points, while number three Bayer Leverkusen has only five points more than Die Adler. Perhaps obtaining a starting ticket for the Champions League is a bridge too far for the team of coach Adi Hütter, but in their current form we can certainly note Frankfurt as a serious candidate for a Europa League ticket. For Saturday's match, Hütter has to make a line-up without Aymen Barkok, who has been suspended. Only Ragnar Ache is in the infirmary.
