Telstar - Oss Prediction, Picks and Taips

The friendly matches are now behind us and football-loving Benelux can prepare for the Nations League. However, the matches in the Kitchen Champion Division are still going on. On Saturday evening at 20:00 Telstar and TOP Oss will meet in the Rabobank IJmond Stadium.

Six games ten points, it is a scenario that Andries Jonker would undoubtedly have signed for at the start of the season. The departure of Reda Kharchouch to Sparta was much discussed and it was quite the question whether Telstar could handle this. However, De Witte Leeuwen has no shortage of scoring ability. Jonker has an ideal mix between experience and talent with Shayne Pattynama, Glynor Plet, Frank Korpershoek and Sven van Doorm. Yet there is one player who stands out for me. Where Ilias Bronkhorst was a defensive wing defender last year, he now gets a lot of opportunity to attack in Jonker's 5-3-2 system. The young talent does have scoring ability, but about two weeks ago Telstar hired Sebastian Soto from Norwich City. As a result, Bronkhorst no longer plays in the striker, but the attacking threat from the right flank is also certain. The 23-year-old defender has already scored five times in the Kitchen Champion Division. This season, however, we have never seen Telstar as disappointing as last round. Jonker’s team had to visit Young PSV on the Herdgang. In the first half, the game went straight, but in the second half the PSV promises were more dominant, more creative and more intelligent. The score went up to 3-0 and as a result, Telstar put pressure on the top three of the Kitchen Champion Division.

Last football season we saw a mediocre FC Dordrecht and Helmond Sport. The clubs were the laughing stock of the competition. So far that image certainly does not seem to have changed, but after six games there is only one other team still on four points. TOP Oss started the season very poorly. That is not surprising, because quite a few players left the transfer period. The TOP Oss board was given the difficult task of putting together an effective attack line and watertight defense. Backs Ruben Roosken and Trevor David came to the Frans Heessen Stadium, while Mart Remans and Kvyon Leidsman came to Oss from another first divisionist. In the very last minute of the transfer window at 11:59 pm, the Ossen arranged another acquisition. Midfielder Youri Loen has been training with TOP Oss for some time, but now he is also officially eligible to play. A match was played last round, after which Klaas Wels's team could finally come in last place. The Schapenkoppen came to visit the Frans Heessen Stadium. TOP Oss was the best team in ninety minutes and won for the first time this season thanks to goals from Dennis van der Heijden and Kvyon Leidsman. A blemish on the game was the injured out of the latter striker.
