Stewart Downing returns to Middlesbrough
West Ham United midfielder Stewart Downing has signed a contract for four seasons with Middlesbrough second group league, thus returning to the band that has evolved in 2001-2009.
According to English media, West Ham will receive eight million euros for the transfer of Downing, an amount that could reach 10 million if Middlesbrouh promote next season.
Aged 30 years, Downing has 35 national selections in England and played for Aston Villa, Sunderland and Liverpool.
