St. Etienne – Troyes, Picks and Tips
France's most successful team has long been the 'red lantern' of the championship. It has bounced back in the last six rounds, losing only once. Troyes have managed to move a little away from the relegation places after their last two results. They won the last round at home to Rennes 1-0. Ugbo was decisive in the second consecutive game in which Troyes did not concede a goal. The other was away to Bordeaux, 2-0 to Troyes, both goals coming from two penalty kicks. Kone was shown a red card in extra time. Troyes also managed to snatch a point, with a chance, from Olympique Marseille, in second place in France. The equaliser came thanks to Touzghard's 90th minute strike, 1-1. Before the 29th round of Ligue 1, Troyes are 15th in the standings with 28 points. The gap to St Etienne is just two points.
