The eighth round in LaLiga starts on Friday-evening in the Ipurua, where Eibar and Cadiz will face each other. Both teams have been in good shape in recent weeks and are therefore confidently working towards this meeting.
 




 
 
  
Eibar has been doing surprisingly well in recent weeks. The Basques again lost several key players last summer, but nevertheless managed to keep no less than seven points from their last three league matches. Last weekend, the brave team of coach Jose Luis Mendilibar even managed to win 0-1 against Champions League participant Sevilla, in a match in which defender Jose Arbilla was even named the best European player of the weekend by the prestigious Whoscored.com. The season is still long, but with eight points from seven rounds and a provisional eleventh place, Los Armeros manage to keep the relegation ghost out for the time being.



Eibar is therefore in good shape, although the Basques in-house are still waiting for their first victory of the new season. The red-and-blue had to rely mainly on their home matches in previous seasons, but this football year they only took two points in four games in their own Ipurua. The absence of the twelfth man therefore also leaves its mark on Eibar.
 
 
 
 

Cadiz has also had a strong start to the season. What's called: after seven rounds of play, the PhD candidate from Andalusia is even casually in the Spanish top six! Of course clubs like Real Madrid and FC Barcelona still have a few games to thank, but we cannot ignore the fact that the yellow-blue ones are doing well.



Cadiz is doing particularly well outdoors. The team of trainer Alvaro Cervera even won all three of his away matches, including the 0-1 super stunt at Real Madrid two weeks ago. The strength of Cadiz is that it has no problem at all to park the bus - in all three away games it had less thirty percent possession, but that does not worry the team at all. In the switchover, the yellow-blue ones are life-threatening.
