For the supporters of Bologna, there is little to cheer lately, in the last five games only two points were taken. Especially the visit to Milan was no fun. Lecce may have lost the most important game of the season last weekend. If Lecce wants to maintain itself, it must catch up with Genoa, the team from which that weekend was lost. Genoa took the lead in the seventh minute, but Marco Mancosu got the ideal opportunity just before half-time to bring Lecce back to level. The midfielder scored eight of the nine penalties he took this season but succumbed to the pressure and missed the most important. In the second half he still scored the equalizer, but Gabriel's own goal meant a loss for Lecce.



Midweek the giallorossi managed to grab the last straw by winning and sending Brescia to Serie B. Especially in the first half, Lecce had the upper hand, two goals from Gianluca Lapadula, who returned from an injury, ensured a comfortable lead at half-time. Brescia made the connection goal in the second half, moments later Riccardo Saponara made the decision 3-1.
