Benevento - Inter Prediction, Picks and Taips

Benevento celebrated the return to the highest level with a beautiful comeback against Sampdoria. On Wednesday, however, a superpower will visit in the form of champion candidate Inter. Can relegation candidate Benevento stunt again?

Benevento became the Serie B champion last season with a street-length ahead of the competition and seems to have the best papers for survival of the three PhD students. A wealth of experience was brought in with Artur Ionita (seven seasons in Serie A), Gianluca Caprari (six seasons in Serie A), Bryan Dabo (eight seasons in Serie A and Ligue 1) and Polish international Kamil Glik (ten seasons in Serie A and Ligue 1) , all four acquisitions started at the base last weekend to visit Sampdoria. Benevento had a false start, it was already 2-0 behind within twenty minutes. In the remainder of the game, Filippo Inzaghi's team recovered and did not give away any big chances. It insisted and it seemed only a matter of time before a goal would be scored. Defender Luca Caldirola scored twice from a corner and put Benevento on the same level with twenty minutes to play. Shortly before the final whistle, defender Gaetano Letizia completed the comeback with a long shot and gave Benevento the deserved profit.

The times of catenaccio and the many bloodless 0-0 matches in Italy have been behind us for some time now. Last season, an average of no less than 3.04 goal per game was scored in Serie A, a lot more than in the Premier League or La Liga, for example. Last weekend the Serie A was again a true spectacle for the neutral spectator with the match between Inter and Fiorentina as the highlight. The visitors took the lead after three minutes after Inter-acquisition Aleksandr Kolarov lost sight of his direct opponent. Just before half time, Lautaro Martinez made up for the deficit with a placed shot from the box. The real spectacle only started after the break. Inter took a 2-1 lead thanks to an own goal from Fio, but ten minutes later faced another 2-3 deficit. The Milanese again showed a lot of resilience. In the 87th minute, Romelu Lukaku made the equalizer on a pass from substitute Achraf Hakimi, in the 89th minute Danilo D'Ambrosio headed in the winning on a pass from substitute Alexis Sanchez. For example, Antonio Conte's team took the full loot in a match that actually did not deserve a winner.
