Little Eibar has been defying football laws for six consecutive seasons by holding out in LaLiga with very limited resources, but this seventh season in one of the strongest leagues in the world is also the toughest for the brave Basques. The red-blue only managed to win three times, and with 15 points from as many rounds of play, they are only one point above the relegation zone.



Especially the lack of scoring ability is a major problem at Eibar, because with only eleven goals, Jose Luis Mendilibar's team, together with Cadiz, is the least scoring team in La Liga. Only club top scorer Kike Garcia was allowed to cheer regularly with four goals, while defender Esteban Burgos also made some money with three goals (including two penalties used). The rest of the team, however, has shown little in an offensive sense.
