Nelson Verissimo's side are far away from the title in Portugal. In third place in the standings, Benfica are no less than 12 'lengths' behind leaders Porto. The club from the Portuguese capital have minimal chances of a trophy this season, having also been eliminated from the Portuguese Cup and League Cup respectively.
