Almere City - Dordrecht Prediction, Picks and Tips

Almere City is on the hunt for the lead in the hope that Cambuur will not take the full advantage in this third game in a row. Almere should simply win against FC Dordrecht, but is that really the case?

Almere City is by far the revelation of this season in the Kitchen Champion Division. When the competition was stopped last year, Almere City was in ninth place in the competition. That was a pretty sad position in the rankings after the countless times the board of the club openly discussed its ambitions and promotion wish. This season seems to be going much better under Ole Tobiasen. Almere City is currently even a shared leader at the second level in the Netherlands. The experienced players Ryan Koolwijk and Thomas Verheydt make a big impression in the Yanmar Stadium. Especially the latter is extremely important in the title fight. Only Robert Mühren (Cambuur) and Nick Doodeman (FC Volendam) were involved in more goals in the Kitchen Champion Division than the tall striker. Last round, the men of the Danish head coach visited the youth complex De Kalverhoek in Alkmaar. Ultimately, the club from Almere managed to easily beat the provincial fellow. In the end, the two goals against were not enough to make it difficult for the away team. Thanks to goals from Helstrup, Verheydt, Mirani, Kaandorp and Bouyaghlafen, they won 2-5. Thanks to the loss of points from competitor Cambuur, the teams are now joint first.

FC Dordrecht was at the bottom of the league for a long time in the Kitchen Kampieon Division, but exchanged that place with FC Den Bosch, which was still performing well last season. Yet the Dordrechters are not out of trouble yet, because it is not all good. FC Dordrecht, in particular, is not performing well this year and it only surprisingly beat NAC Breda. Nine of the twelve points of Jan Zoutman's team were taken in the Riwal Hoogwerken Stadium. FC Dordrecht was therefore able to achieve results in five of the ten home matches. Yet FC Dordrecht is one of the worst performing teams. The number of goals conceded is particularly worrying. Only the AZ promises received more goals against than the club, which has already pulled the ball out of the net 51 times. In the first ten away games, FC Dordrecht received an average of 3.5 goals per game, giving the club the most negative goal difference of the entire competition.
Our recommendation tip for Almere City - Dordrecht : Over 3,5 goals @ 1.94
