Netherlands - Italy Prediction, Picks and Taips

On Monday evening, the Dutch National Team will play another home game in the Nations League. Italy is the opponent of the Orange.

The Dutch national team played another game on Friday, after a long interlander period. In the setting we are now used to - that of empty stands - the Netherlands played against Poland on the opening day of the Nations League. Interim coach Dwight Lodeweges largely elaborated on Ronald Koeman's line-up and tactics. The Netherlands played, without really impressing, a solid match, which was won 1-0 by a goal from Steven Bergwijn. Due to the draw in the other match in this group - between Italy and Bosnia-Herzegovina - the Netherlands immediately took the lead. After a long period without international matches, a busy period is starting. There are five more group duels in the Nations League scheduled for the turn of the year, and the Orange also play friendly against Mexico and Spain.

Italy played a match in Florence on Friday evening without too much entertainment value. In the home game against Bosnia-Herzegovina, the chances, especially in the first half, were very scarce. In the second half, Italy fell behind, but it was quickly repaired. However, it remained with Stefano Sensi's goal, so the Italians had to settle for a point (1-1). After the game, something remarkable took place. National coach Roberto Mancini actually wanted to post Giorgio Chiellini in the base, but because he did not have his glasses on when studying the final line-up, not the Juventus defender started, but Francesco Acerbi. Prior to these two international matches, it had already been agreed that Chiellini would play an international match. The veteran is therefore in the base against the Netherlands. Ciro Immobile will probably also be allowed to start in Amsterdam, after Andrea Belotti was preferred in rush hour on Friday.
