Levante - Sevilla Prediction, Picks and Taips

The second round after the Corona break will be kicked off on Monday evening in the Camilo Cano de La Nucía, Levante diverts to this stadium in Alicante to receive a visit from Seville. The two teams met twice earlier this season, both head-to-head games were won by Sevilla. Can Levante grab points against the Andalusians this time?

For the first game after the Corona stop, Levante did not have to travel far, a stone's throw from the home stadium the men of Paco López met fellow city Valencia CF in the Mestalla. For a long time it looked like the game would end in a bloodless 0-0, but in extremis there was still a lot of spectacle to experience. Levante managed to defuse the home team's late opening goal in the eighth minute of injury time, leaving Las Granotas satisfied with the restart of La Liga. A major blot on the achieved point was the disappearance of club top scorer and tastemaker Roger Marti. The 29-year-old Spaniard ran into his second yellow card of the game unnecessarily in the final phase and will therefore not come into action on Monday-evening. Marti already accounted for eleven league goals this season, exactly one third of his club's total goal production. Furthermore, Levante is able to make it difficult for her opponents at home, for example, Barcelona and Real Madrid were already beaten in the Ciutat de Valencia. It is, however, very questionable whether there is anything left of the home advantage of Levante, since there is played in a different stadium and without an audience.

The resumption of La Liga started last week with a top-class derby, in the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, Seville was visited by fellow townsman Real Betis. It was clear that both teams were still uncomfortable in the first half and the football was not very qualitative, but in the end the home team managed to express the predominance on the scoreboard in the second half. Despite many cases of cramps among the players, the team of trainer Julen Lopetegui remained fairly simple: 2-0. Thanks to the victory and the loss of points in almost all direct competitors, the red and white formation was able to strengthen the third place in the ranking, the lead on the fifth position is now four points again. Furthermore, according to Spanish media, it is expected that coach Lopetegui will change his team in a number of positions where possible, so Luuk de Jong will have to start from the bench and we can expect three changes in midfield.
